Closed cell EPDM is used for many outdoor industrial gasketing applications for weatherproofing due to its resistance to aging, UV, ozone, and oxidation.

HVAC

This rubber sponge material proves beneficial in many HVAC systems and other flexible sealing applications, as it is resistant to compression set and atmospheric degradation. 

Automotive

EPDM is the material of choice for automotive taillight gaskets because of its excellent resistance to ozone and its unique sealing characteristics.

Electrical Enclosures

EPDM’s excellent resistance to ozone, UV and oxidation and its closed cell structure allows this material to be used as gasketing for many outdoor electrical enclosures.
